Intelligence Support

The Enterprise furnished strategic intelligence to the Contras.  North provided CIA information to destroy Soviet HIND-D helicopters delivered to the Sandinistas in November 1984 and a Nicaraguan merchant ship, the Monimbo, carrying weapons in February 1985.  These efforts were unsuccessful.
